Every year this village holds very high marks in the TIDY TOWNS awards and gained a Gold Medal last year. Beautiful Granite buildings including the The Churches, Old Mill, The Old Railway Building and grounds. Fishing Lough with walkway round the lake and rods bate etc supplied if necessary. The CAPTAINS TABLE is an example of the ART of granite buildings that Augrhrim can be very proud. This building on the corner has now been transformed into a beautilul Fast Food Restaurant. The well known county GAA grounds is just beside the fishing Lough.
