Sandycove is lies between Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey, on the south-east coast of Dublin.
The easiest way to go there from Dublin City Center is to use the Stillorgan Road, also known as the N11 dual carriage way and take turn left at Foxrock Church, towards Dean's Grange.
Keep going straight until you reach the sea front at Dun Laoghaire. Turn right, and go along the sea front. Pass the Dun Laoghaire East Pier and take the next road on the left. You should reach a little beach in Sandycove. Park there.

A few years ago, it used to be a "Gentlemen Only" swimming area and the wear of swimming togs was optional... Things have changed since then, and the place is now also open to people of the other sex. The rules about the wear of swimming suit also changed, I'm afraid!
